David Denis, ND RP is a founding faculty member at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies in Toronto.  He leads training programs for healthcare professionals in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness for Healthcare Professionals.  He has taught over 500 professionals how to incorporate mindfulness in their mental and physical healthcare practices.

David is an acclaimed teacher of mental health and mindfulness.  He heads the mental health training program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.  He also has an appointment as faculty in the University of California and San Diego (UCSD) Mindfulness-Based Training Institute, where he supervises Mindfulness therapists as part of the certification program.


Professional Training Courses


 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) group supervision.

This group supervision is for health care practitioners interested in further strengthening their CBT skills.  It is open to participants of any experience level with CBT and mindfulness psychotherapy.

This group will cover the core tasks of a CBT session: agenda setting, reviewing the previous week,  setting agenda items, conducting thought records, assigning homework, and receiving feedback.  Mindfulness principles will also be incorporated.
