Dr. Denis is a Naturopathic Doctor and a Registered Psychotherapist.  He believes that treating the whole mind and body is the most effective approach to helping his clients achieve wellness and happiness.  He has successfully helped over 1000 clients acheive their wellness goals. Dr. Denis uses effective evidence based approaches for supporting mental well-being. Dr. Denis blends his psychotherapy expertise with naturopathic modalities such as nutritional counseling, herbal medicine, and acupuncture. In addition to his training as a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Denis has extensive training in Mindfulness based psychotherapies and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Dr. Denis is a faculty member at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies (CMS) where he teaches Mindfulness Based Approaches to people suffering from anxiety, depression, stress, and physical illnesses such as cancer.  Dr. Denis is highly regarded for his professional teaching at CMS where he trains health care providers in the areas of Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Dr. Denis teaches in the Applied Mindfulness Certificate program at the University of Toronto.  He is also faculty in the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy program at University California San Diego.

Dr. Denis is a faculty member at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where he leads the mental health training program.  Due to his expertise in mental health Dr. Denis was brought in to re-design the psychology curriculum for naturopathic students.
